Lund, headquartered in Buford, Georgia, outside Atlanta, is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of branded automotive aftermarket accessories and serves a diversified distribution network including warehouse distributors, automotive parts retailers, mass merchants and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The Lund acquisition represents an opportunity for LinCap to leverage its past experience and proven track record of success in the automotive aftermarket sector. With a leading market share in many of its product categories, Lund represents one of the largest independent platforms in the automotive aftermarket industry. The Lund brand along with AVS/AutoVentshade, Deflecta-Shield, Nifty and Belmor are some of the most recognized names in the industry.

Manhattan Beachwear, headquartered in Cypress, CA, is a leading provider of women’s swimwear and beachwear. The company supplies a portfolio of labels to large national department stores, mass merchants and specialty swimwear outlets. Proprietary brands include Maxine and 24th & Ocean. Licenses include Kenneth Cole Reaction and Kenneth Cole New York, Hermanny by Vix, Sofia by Vix, Hobie and Split. Annual sales at acquisition: $65 million.

Manhattan Beachwear represents an opportunity for LinCap to leverage its past experience and proven track record of success in niche apparel. The vision is to build on the company’s success with its retail partners to become the leading supplier of women’s swimwear by providing unique design capability and high quality products supported by consistent execution and low cost global supply chain. The company will seek add-on acquisitions that provide the opportunity to add new brands, licenses or customer relationships.

Paradigm Packaging, Inc.

Paradigm is a leading manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging primarily for nutritional and pharmaceutical applications. The company manufactures stock and custom blow molded bottles and injection molded enclosures at facilities located in New Jersey, California, and Utah. Annual sales at acquisition: $52 million.

LinCap acquired Paradigm with management as part of a corporate divestiture of the division by a European parent. Since that time, LinCap and management have worked to rebalance operations and prioritize close customer partnerships based on the company’s high customer service metrics.
